Corporate Intern Recruiters
PURPOSE
All Palm students are required to complete a three-month, full time (40 hours a week) internship beginning from the Sophomore year (second year) summer break. The purpose of the internship program is to encourage students to learn and acquire hands-on professional skills that are relevant to their chosen career paths. Students also have an opportunity during the internship experience to apply what they have learned in their seminars and lectures to real-world scenarios.
BENEFITS TO STUDENTS & WHAT IS EXPECTED OF STUDENTS
• Student(s) would be given the opportunity to practice what they have learned in the classroom and learn more.
• Student(s) would have an opportunity to experience what happens in the real world of work.
• Student(s) would have firsthand experience in time management, following policies and procedures in the work environment, and meeting performance deadlines.
• Student(s) would be given an opportunity to work and participate in real work projects if given the opportunity by their supervisors.

NOT A PAID INTERNSHIP
This will not be a paid internship. However, companies may choose to reward their intern at their discretion but are under no obligation.

PROFILE OF STUDENTS
Palm University College will submit a full profile of each student intern to each of our partnering companies/organizations prior to their placement. The profile will present details of the candidate’s background, strengths, weaknesses, areas of specialization, and expertise.
