Palm University College is located at Manya Jorpanya, Shai Hills off the Tema-Akosombo High near the Shai Hills Game Reserve (Accra, Ghana)

The University College was founded by Dr. Peter Carlos Okantey. He is the President of the University-College.

Yes, Palm has been duly accredited by the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission, Ghana.

Yes, Palm is affiliated to the University of Cape Coast (UCC).

Yes, Palm has adequate facilities that support the delivery of excellent quality higher education.

These include a hall of residence, well-furnished lecture halls, administrative offices, cafeteria, computer laboratory, modern library with eBooks and online journals, 24hr internet access, a serene environment for students to hang out and study, etc.

Currently, Palm runs the following programs in:

  • BSc. Business Information Technology,
  • BSc. Business Administration and
  • BSc. Computer Science.
  • Diploma in Business Information Technology
  • Diploma in Business Administration

Plans are underway to add master’s degree programs.

Yes, Palm students are taught by qualified faculty who hold relevant Ph.D., MPhil, and MSc. Degrees.

Yes, Palm takes intentional steps to involve industry experts and professionals in the delivery of our curriculum. Industry leaders, experts, and professionals are regularly invited to deliver modules, lead sessions and lectures on campus. Our Career Services Department takes frantic steps to integrate industry into our Palm experience for our students.

Palm has a dynamic Career Services Department that works with students from Freshman year through to their Senior year to ensure they are professionally prepared and ready for the job market locally and internationally. As a result, Palm students are required to undertake compulsory job shadowing, internships and community services projects. They activities commence from freshman year through senior year. Students are assessed, monitored and supervised by dedicated Palm staff and faculty throughout this process. Partner organizations and corporations work in close collaboration with Palm to ensure our students are successful by giving them the best of corporate experiences. The Career Services Department also works with Palm to create and secure in local and international internship opportunities for all Palm students.

To ensure and safeguard the wholistic success of every student who enrolls in Palm, the university-college has set-up the Coaching, Counselling and Academic Advising Department to help and assist students navigate the issues of life and their academic and professional journeys. The university-college has professional Counselors who meet our students regularly through scheduled appointments to help them work through any difficulties (academic, social, emotional, spiritual etc.) they may be encountering.

Tuition fees

  • For non-Ghanaian students, the tuition fee is $5,500 a year with up to 50% scholarship.
  • For Ghanaian students, the tuition fee is $2,000 GH¢20,000 (Per Year) with up to 60% scholarship.

These fees can be paid in installments but 20% must be paid before students can do their course registration.

Yes, there is Financial Aid and Scholarship opportunities available for all qualified brilliant but needy deserving students who successfully go through the entire Student Admission Application Process. Financial Aid and Scholarships are awarded through Palm University Foundation and DOO Foundation.

Yes, all international students can also apply for scholarship.

A degree program is  4  years while a diploma is 2 years.

Once you submit your application, the Admissions office will meet and review your application and invite you for an interview.  Within a maximum wait period of a month, the applicant should hear from the Admissions office after the interview.
