Samuel Annor Bannor | Class of 2026
My name is Samuel Annor Bannor, and I am thrilled to be a freshman, diving into the exciting world of BSc. in Computer Science here at Palm University. Hailing from the beautiful town of Ahintia in the Central region of Ghana, my journey to Palm was influenced by my uncle, a sophomore at here at Palm. The moment I was introduced to the Palm Honor Code, I knew I had to experience it firsthand, along with the many other unique features of this university.
Financial obstacles initially made me doubt my dream of pursuing university education, but Palm University Foundation's scholarship program turned that dream into a reality. The prospect of launching my own business has always been an ambition, and with the Palm Green Lab program, I believe I can turn that dream into a reality. The Bridge Program here at Palm has been my guiding light, ensuring a seamless transition from high school to university life. My peer mentor, Raymond Foli, a sophomore has been a true ally on this journey has been instrumental in helping me organize myself to navigate the campus the Palm way. Exciting times ahead, and I can't wait to make the most of my stay here at Palm University.
