Collaborations

The New Business Challenge is a unique business case competition where Dutch and Ghanaian students work together in mixed teams on solutions for companies. The challenge involves a 10-day study trip to the Netherlands where students get to meet experts and experience a different culture. This initiative is sponsored by the Dutch Embassy and organized by the Ghana Netherlands Business and Cultural Council (GNBCC).

Palm has been a successful partner of the New Business Challenge from 2016 till date. Five (5) of our students have had the opportunity to be part of this challenge. In 2017, three Palm students were selected together with 17 other students from various universities in Ghana for the competition. Abu and Justina worked on the Cargil Case whilst Happy Aforkpah worked on Nile Dutch Case. Out of the three participants from Palm, Justina emerged as one of the winners from the Cargil Team 2.

In 2018, we had one of our students, Laurietta Sawuda Anipah representing Palm.

Samira Awal, a Business Administration student was selected and represented Palm in the 2019 New Business Challenge Competition.
